In a continuing effort to make folks aware of us and the fact that we have funds available to help Atlanta musicians, AMERF (the Atlanta Musicians’ Emergency Relief Fund) is partnering with the Atlanta Blues Society (https://atlantabluessociety.org/) as co-sponsors during this viral crisis.  ABS has been a fixture of the Atlanta musical community for years, serving as a clearing-house of sorts for musicians, bands, music lovers and the general public.  They provide a valuable forum for information on all matters related to Atlanta’s entertainment scene, including performance and streaming schedules and information about special events.

Donating to ABS and/or AMERF is a great way to support live, local bands and musicians, especially during these trying times of limited gigs and scarce income.  We welcome volunteer help (see elsewhere on this website) and donations, believing that “music really does make the world a better place.”
